Privacy Policy

This page explains what this review site does with information when you read it. It covers the review pages only. If you go on to open an account with the casino we review, that account is governed by the operator's own privacy policy, which you accept on its sign-up form and which we do not control.

Who we are

This site is an independent editorial project that reviews online casinos for readers in Australia. We publish written opinions, scores and practical walkthroughs, such as how registration and a first deposit look on screen. We do not hold player accounts, we do not take deposits and we cannot see anything you do on the operator's website.

If you want to ask us something about the site or its data, write to the contact address shown on the page footer or in the site settings. We answer privacy requests in plain language and as quickly as we can.

What we collect when you only read

Like most websites, our hosting setup records technical information each time a page is requested: your IP address, the page address, the time, the browser and device type, and the page you came from. This is kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting and is deleted on a rolling schedule.

We use basic, aggregated analytics to see which review sections people read and where they leave. We do not build profiles of individual readers and we do not ask you to create an account to read anything here.

Cookies and similar tools

The site uses a small number of cookies. Some are needed for the page to work, for example to remember that you dismissed a notice. Others support the analytics described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Reading still works if you do, although a few convenience features may reset on each visit.

When you click a button that leads to the operator, the link may carry a tracking tag so that the click can be counted. The tag identifies the link, not you, and the operator sets its own cookies once you arrive on its website.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we keep your message and our reply for as long as needed to deal with it and to show we handled it properly. We use your address only to respond. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent contact details to anyone.

Please do not send passwords, card numbers or identity documents to us. We will never ask for them, and nobody connected with this site is entitled to request them.

Who else sees data

Our hosting provider and analytics provider process technical data on our behalf and under their own terms. We do not pass information to the casino operator beyond what the tracked link itself contains. We may disclose information if a court or authority legally requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. For ordinary readers there is usually very little beyond log entries, which expire on their own. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you believe we have handled your information badly.

This site is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please leave the site. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this page

We update this policy when our tools or practices change. The wording on this page is the version in force, and material changes will be reflected by a fresh read of the page rather than by an email, since we do not hold reader email addresses.
